We do not chase one idea of beauty. We live it, slowly, through art and the feel of things
Oui, in French, means yes. It is a small word, and she has said it to so many things:
to work, to other people, to everyone’s needs before her own. OUIFIE is the yes she keeps for herself.
The second half of the name belongs to our time. Selfie first appeared in 2002, and Oxford later made room for it in the dictionary. It is the word for the moment we turn the lens toward ourselves. We turned it toward the end of the day instead:
the hour no one is watching,
linen against her skin,
the room where she can stop performing.
Born in Taiwan, dressed in Europe. We believe beautiful things should not belong only to a few. So we rethought every step, from the first sketch and the choice of fibre to the making and the moment it reaches her door. We kept what made each piece better.
Whatever added only cost, we let go. There is nothing to hide. Every stage of the making is open, and every piece can be traced to where it began.
We work directly with European makers we trust,
and our care for the earth lasts longer than a season.
Nothing stands between her and the maker, only the linen and an honest price.
OUIFIE. The yes you keep for yourself.
